Fire Safety Assessment Process
1. Documentation Review
Fire safety drawings, building layouts, evacuation plans, and fire system installation records are reviewed. Fire license, approval documents, and compliance certificates issued by relevant authorities are also checked.
2. On-Site Inspection
A detailed physical inspection is carried out to evaluate fire safety conditions, including fire exits, escape routes, emergency lighting, fire alarms, smoke detectors, and sprinkler systems. Accessibility of exits and signage visibility are also assessed.
3. Fire Risk Evaluation
Potential fire hazards such as electrical risks, material storage, and occupancy risks are identified. The overall fire risk level of the building is analyzed based on observed conditions.
4. Reporting & Recommendations
A formal report is prepared outlining findings, identified fire risks, and system deficiencies. Recommendations are provided for improving fire safety measures, upgrading systems, and ensuring compliance. If major risks are identified, immediate corrective actions are advised.
